Diversity is at the forefront of everything we do and we continuously challenge ourselves to think differently
Over the last 7 years, we have built an established network of the top female Sales professionals across key financial services markets in Europe, with the support of a dedicated in-house research function. This ensures that we are able to identify, engage, attract and introduce to our clients the requisite calibre of Sales professionals, whilst supporting their diversity objectives.
Ludgate Search's diversity and inclusion services also include workshops and training, coaching and mentoring and our team is represented on a number of steering committees for industry initiatives such as the Diversity Project.
In addition to this, we are able to provide bespoke analytics and reporting on gender and remuneration, we hold regular events on diversity topics, and conduct surveys on industry trends within the investment industry.
The Diversity Project
The Diversity Project is a cross-company initiative championing a more inclusive culture within the Savings and Investment profession, designed to complement the existing programmes of individual firms and national schemes, to achieve diversity in the industry over a five year timeframe. The group is chaired by Helena Morrissey, Head of Personal Investing at Legal and General Investment Management, Founder of the 30% Club and Investment Association Chair.
Ludgate Search is closely involved with the Diversity Project across a number of workstreams, including representation on the Steering Committee for the SMART Working workstream, which seeks to promote agile working practices across the savings and investments industry to; encourage both the best and most diverse talent to join the industry, support individuals who want to return after a period of absence and encourage senior, experienced executives to remain within the industry.

If you are returning to Distribution
after a career break, we would like to hear from you
Ludgate Search recently conducted a survey of female Sales professionals based in the UK and continental Europe, who had returned from the industry following a career break for maternity. Our aim was to understand women’s drivers to return to asset management Sales, the challenges they faced in doing so, and the role of SMART working practices in supporting their career progression.
WORKING TOGETHER TO COLLECTIVELY CREATE CHANGE
Ludgate Search partners with a number of organisations who are leading the way in
D & I, and share our vision of a more diverse and inclusive investment industry.
